but don't be afraid to reach out/ask questions! :)
hi there!!!
I wanted to dedicate a page specifically to my graduates at the University of Arizona.
Something about these shoots speaks to my heart so much; while I may claim myself to be a Pensacola and destination wedding photographer now, shooting graduation photos for the WONDERFUL, now lifelong friends I have met is on another level of love and excitement that I get to both capture and experience :)
I want to continue traveling back to Tucson to do this for as long as I can, and I promise I will invest my whole heart and soul into making the best experience and photos for you ♡

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is only sunrise on the calendar?
This past year I had a realization about the University of Arizona's campus during peak graduation season that will forever change my booking process: SUNRISE. IS. IT. Let me tell you why!!
1. THE OLD MAIN GLOW
- Old Main, the main focal point of our beautiful campus, gets directly hit with the sun during sunset. This is NOT ideal for glowy and soft photos. However, the sun rises behind old main in the morning, & it is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen through my camera lens. The glow you get at Old Main, the palm tree road, Eller, Dirtbag's, etc., is unmatched during sunrise.
2. IT IS RIDICULOUSLY CROWDED DURING SUNSET
- Understandably so, everyone and their mother is at Old Main during graduation season at sunset. Families come into town & want photos by the fountain, people are spending time on campus with friends, studying, walking, riding bikes, driving around, walking from University, etc. It is CRAZY. There are events at Centennial Hall, crowds of people in the back of almost every photo, & so on. You'll get more use of your time with us not having to wait in lines for other groups taking photos, moving out of the road for tons of cars to drive by, & waiting even longer on editing from me since I have to attempt to photoshop people out of the backgrounds (it's not always possible either!).
3. WEATHER
- It's Tucson, & it can get HOT in the evenings and even worse, it can get crazy windy as well. I have never had an issue with wind during a morning session, but I have had evening sessions where there wasn't one photo without hair & stoles flying everywhere.
4. THE PROOF IS IN THE PHOTOS
-99% of all photos I post have been taken in the morning!!! Ultimately, the lighting, crowds, and weather are 10000% better and will provide you with the best experience that I can promise you is worth waking up early for!! <3
Have I convinced you yet?;)
If there is a scheduling conflict or other issue with making a sunrise session work, let me know & we can discuss options!!
What is a "sunrise 2" slot?
Last year in the midst of grad season, I realized early on that sunrise was superior to sunset. After this, I contacted all of my grads that I already had booked for sunset times and changed almost all of them to a "second sunrise" shoot. So, I would have two sunrise shoots in the morning, and they were SO much better than sunset!!
The lighting during sunrise stays very consistent and glowy for hours because old main hides the sun from being super direct for awhile.
I will open up a few "sunrise 2" spots as an option in the case that I sell out of the first sunrise slots! I promise you this time is just as amazing!:) They will take place immediately after my first sunrise shoot.
I will only offer these on limited days when I do not have a group shoot during the first sunrise spot! :)
how early out should I book?
As early as possible!!!!
Last grad season I had over 30 inquiries after I was already booked that I simply could not take on :(
My availability is even more limited this year so please don't wait! <3
can you explain how group sessions work? PT. 1
YES!!
This is a question I get asked often & I'm more than happy to explain my breakdown of the process and pricing. It's taken me awhile to figure out exactly how to price group sessions, & I believe I have landed on a breakdown that is fair for both my clients & me :)
1. THE PROCESS OF THE SHOOT:
With group sessions I offer each person the option to book/be in either just group photos, or take group PLUS individual photos. For example, say there is a group of 3 lovely ladies wanting a group shoot. Girl A only wants group photos, Girl B wants group photos & also wants individual ones, but doesn't feel like she wants to dedicate a whole shoot to just herself/needs that many photos. Lastly, Girl C wants both group photos AND a full shoot to herself. Here is what each girl in this scenario does:
-Girl A: pays for only group photos.
-Girl B: pays for group plus individual photos.
-Girl C: pays for only group photos & then books her own private individual session on another day.
During the shoot I will do a combination of different group photos in each location, & then break girl B off for some photos of her own in the same location. I have done over 200 graduation photoshoots at the U of A & am very confident in my ability to get a fair amount of individual plus group photos during your photoshoot's time.
Speaking of your photoshoot's time, that is another thing I would like to touch on, & something that I feel very passionate about...
I will NEVER leave a photoshoot without feeling like I have given you your money & time's worth. Ever. You have my word on that!!! When it comes to group photoshoots especially, so many things are unpredictable when dealing with so many people.

2. PRICING
As mentioned in the previous question slot, it has taken me quite a few trial and error runs to figure out a fair pricing for both my clients & for me as the photographer/editor of group sessions, & here is my final breakdown of pricing for them and the reasoning behind it!
-For those wanting only group photos: $130/per person
-For those wanting group plus individual photos: $250 per/person
I never want to leave anyone in the dark on why my pricing is the way it is, so let me explain as fully and in-depthly as possible!
Firstly, I want to say that I recognize that this is not an easy price to pay for everyone. I would be more than happy to recommend some of my dear friends in the U of A photography world who have lower prices and will do an amazing job. However, should you & your group choose me as your photographer, I promise you that I will put 1000% effort into you as clients, people, & friends in order to provide you with the best possible experience & graduation photos, however I understand that I am not for everyone & that's okay!!!<3
My breakdown of group shoots is this:
A full, individual shoot with me is priced at $500. During a group shoot, my attention is obviously divided into also taking photos of the group & possibly other's individual's as well, however I never set a cap for the amount of photos you'll get, so you will get at least half of the number of individual photos you would get during an individual session, plus your group photos. The way I price it is say Boy A & Boy B would like to do a group shoot, & they both would like group plus individual photos. Well, the two of them combined will truly be getting one full shoot divided, therefore splitting the cost in half. As the number of people go up per shoot, I will extend my time to ensure that each person feels they are receiving the amount of time & photos they are paying for; again, I do promise to be efficient & fair enough during each photoshoot for each person, & have had A LOT of practice!!

**PRICING CONTINUED**
When it comes to the amount of time I spend, each photoshoot that has more people I will spend more time on: during the shoot and then after in editing. I go in and cull through thousands of photos and then edit them by hand to ensure bruises, blemishes, etc. are all taken care of, in addition to the regular color-grading and other hand edits I do for each photo! So, for those paying for just group photos as well, I promise it is worth it!!<3
If there are extra friends wanting to jump in for truly just a couple photos, genuinely, let me know and we can talk about alternative pricing!! This pricing is specifically for those wanting to do all group photos the whole time, and hopefully respecting the time it takes for me to edit each individual person!! <3 I never charge for something that isn't fair.
Please let me know if you have any further questions on this, but hopefully this explained in a way that makes sense!!
