Deciding to change from their big wedding plans to a private elopement, I was honored to follow Isabel and Ryan through the heart of the French Quarter, amidst the charming cobblestone streets and historic architecture, where they married in a quietly intimate ceremony. We chatted and laughed while I took detail shots of her silky dress hanging on the balcony, and ran down to the front desk to find scissors for her to cut herself some last-minute-layers in her hair. Amid the excitement, she confided in me a secret that would deepen the significance of their elopement: she was pregnant!!
Isabel and Ryan chose a quiet and intimate ceremony at the quaint French Quarter Wedding Chapel, nestled amongst the colorful tapestry of the French Quarter's storied buildings. I absolutely loved seeing the smile appear on Ryan's face when he turned around and saw his glowing bride walk down the aisle. They exchanged the sweetest vows, all while their baby was up there with them!
Following their ceremony, the three of us strolled through the whimsical streets of the French Quarter and the city's vibrant charm became the backdrop for their love story.

I absolutely loved the relaxed, slow-paced nature of this part of the day, where I was able to carefully frame their journey, capturing their shared excitement and a touch of the magic the city had given us.
As we returned to their hotel, Isabel and Ryan stepped onto their balcony for a private moment. I positioned myself inside their room, capturing the moment though the double French doors.
